Goldman Sachs to sell Socar Turkey shares in 2021

Goldman Sachs will sell its 13 percent share of Socar Turkey Energy AS (STEAS) in 2021, STEAS CEO Kenan Yavuz said.

Goldman bought the share for $1.3 billion last month.

The company also purchased 30 percent of Socar Turkey’s Petlim port for $300 million.

Petlim, the largest tanker port in the Aegean Sea, will open in January 2016, Yavuz said.
