President Aliyev meets Al Maktoum in Dubai

The talks covered regional and international issues of mutual interest and issues related to peace, stability and economic development, especially in the region, Asia and Middle East.

Both leaders explored ways of promoting and widening avenues of cooperation between the two countries to feature wider areas in investment partnership, trade and tourism and cultural exchange.

They also called for increasing flights between the two nations in order to stimulate tourism.

Shaikh Mohammad and the Azeri president praised the advanced relations between the two countries in all domains. They discussed ways to promote the friendly relations in light of the historic visit of Shaikh Mohammad accompanied by a delegation to Azerbaijan last year and the current visit of the Azerbaijan president to Dubai.
