1,239 hectares cleared of landmines last week

Mine-clearance agencies operating in Azerbaijan's liberated territories have released operational figures for the week of October 5–11, 2026. According to the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), operations over the past week uncovered and neutralized 327 anti-personnel mines, 34 anti-tank mines, and 624 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO).

During the reporting period, demining teams cleared a total of 1,239.1 hectares of land from hazardous munitions and unexploded remnants.
