Hungarian House Speaker meets Azeri economy minister

    

They welcomed developments in the two countries' political, economic, parliamentary and educational relations and growth in bilateral trade since 2013.

Mustafayev, who has served as a co-chair of the Hungarian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee for more than five years, said that implementation of 40 bilateral agreements is under way.

"Hungary regards Azerbaijan a strategic partner in energy cooperation," Kover said, indicating Hungary's interest in projects linked to the Southern Gas Corridor to serve the country's goal of diversifying its energy resources

and import routes.

The sides identified further cooperation possibilities in education, culture and tourism.
