Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR sold 41 percent of its $750-million bonds to US investors, the company said on its website.

The US was followed by the United Kingdom, which bought 39 percent of the 15-year bonds.

The rest of Europe got 18 percent. Other regions of the world bought 2 percent.

SOCAR said 93 percent of the bonds were sold to fund managers, 5 percent to banks and 2 percent to pension funds.
