For the first time in Azerbaijan, the COP29 Human Capital Forum was organized under the theme”Green Human Resources for a Sustainable Future” by the Azerbaijan HR Institute. The event aimed to promote the sustainable development of human capital, enhance employee engagement, and share innovative HR solutions to combat climate change through dialogues, discussions, and knowledge exchange.

During the event, companies that showcased successful experiences in these areas were awarded. Among the honorees was Kapital Bank, the country’s leading bank. Kapital Bank received two awards: "Best Employee Engagement Strategy” and "Best Green Human Resources Strategy,” which were presented to the bank's official representatives.

Aygun Musayeva, Director of the Talent Management Department at Kapital Bank, expressed her pride in receiving these awards during the "Solidarity Year for a Green World.” She shared, "Our team continuously works on self-development, staying in line with the latest technological advancements and benefiting from the excellent growth opportunities offered by our bank. This helps us to deliver innovative services to our customers. We recognize the importance of sustainability and green thinking in today's world, and we are committed to progressing and evolving on this path. We have made significant strides in green HR by almost eliminating paper from our HR processes and moving them to digital platforms. Furthermore, we place great importance on ensuring that everyone at the bank feels happy every day and enjoys the numerous benefits provided by our exceptional workplace. We are on the right path!”

It should be noted that Kapital Bank, one of the largest employers among financial institutions in the country, is the first and only bank in Azerbaijan to receive the prestigious "Great Place to Work” certification. The bank has been awarded this recognition for two consecutive years.
