The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Azerbaijani manat remains unchanged at 1.7000 AZN as the Central Bank of Azerbaijan maintains its hard peg of the national currency at this level.

According to official foreign exchange rates published by the financial regulator for October 1, the euro registered a moderate decline, settling lower at 1.9242 AZN. In contrast, the value of 100 Russian rubles gained ground to trade at 2.0365 AZN. The official rate for the Turkish lira stood at 0.0349 AZN.

The Azerbaijani regulator has kept the dollar exchange rate firmly pegged at 1.7000 AZN since April 2017, determining all other cross-currency rates on a daily basis according to their global foreign exchange valuations against the US greenback.
