Tehran will present six fields for oil development.

Iran will start preliminary negotiations with the European oil companies Total, Eni and Saipem about their participation in development of fields in the Persian gulf, said chief executive of the Iranian offshore oil company Said Hafezi.

According to Hafezi, Tehran will present six fields which can be developed by foreign investors at the ceremony of presenting the new model of oil contracts, RIA Novosti reports citing ISNA.

According to Oxu.Az, Hafezi noted that Iran plans to discuss gas extraction from Salman field with United Arab Emirates and is already negotiating with the Norwegian-Austrian company about the development of Esfandiyar oil field.

He also added that Iran did not hold negotiations with the US companies.
