Obama 'orders military to increase efforts to destroy ISIS'

Obama 'orders military to increase efforts to destroy ISIS'
25.11.2015 10:40
The US president instructed his National Security Council to "intensify” the campaign against the sick jihadi death cult at a meeting yesterday.

His administration has come under intense pressure to come down hard on ISIS since it seized the Iraqi city of Ramadi in May.

The announcement will add to speculation that Obama wants boots on the ground in Syria.

Despite the crackdown, the president has been informed the US faces no specific threats from savage ISIS terrorists.

Unnamed Pentagon bosses said last month the US is set to send special operations forces to the Middle East to take out the death cult’s leaders.

Insiders said hey would also advise moderate rebels and could help to call in US air strikes.

It has also been claimed that the US could be ramping up its campaign in order to compete with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Reports have suggested that Putin is preparing to send 150,000 ground troops to Syria to obliterate ISIS.

The Pentagon and White House refused to comment at the time of the claims.
