Russian journalists detained and deported from Turkey

Rossiya-1 television special correspondent Alexander Buzaladze and cameraman Sergei Eliseev arrived in the country to cover the current situation developing on the Syrian-Turkish border.
The journalists were reportedly specifically interested in following alleged illegal oil trading taking place on the frontier, Ruptly TV reports.
They were detained near the border while heading for Hatay's neighbouring Gaziantep Province. The journalists were taken to a police station, where they were made to give up their passports, were fingerprinted, and from where they were taken to an airport and deported to Russia. According to the VGTRK press-service, "they were informed that they would be expelled from Turkey for violation of the rules of work of foreign journalists in the Turkish Republic."
