Muslim children are standing up against ISIS

The students were speaking out against the terror network in a bid to stop it hijacking their peaceful religion.

And they called on children of all faiths across Britain to stand together against Isis’s twisted ideology.

They sent letters to children's newspaper First News slamming the group, which trains children their age to be jihadis and suicide bombers.

Faris, 10, and Safa, 11, said: "Our religion is Islam and we believe in peace and kindness to everyone. Sadly, because of the fear caused by these terrorists, there is a lot of suspicion about all Muslims, which is making life very hard for us.

"They have nothing to do with us. They are NOT Muslims,” added the pupils from Highlands Primary School, Ilford, Essex.

Aminah, 12, and Junada, 13,, said Isis were "deluded people who believe they have the right to take the lives of many people in the name of God. This is wrong,’’ they wrote.

"Although we are Muslim we are still like every other child in the world,”. said the two, from Hampstead School in Camden, central London "We want to hold hands with children of all faiths, colour and race and stand against all the hate in the world,” they added.

"We want peace and love.''
