Now nutjob terror freaks are beheading their OWN troops

Their fate was sealed after a Sharia court found the militants guilty of "high treason". They were alleged to have legged it from the battlefield in the north western Iraq city of Mosul.

The desertions came amid clashes with the Kurdish Peshmerga forces.

The gruesome beheadings are said to have happened in a public square in the town of Baa’j to the west of the city as hundreds of fighters looked on.

Media activist Abdullah al-Mallah told a news agency: "The militants were found guilty for evacuating a post at the battlefront, where clashes took place between them and the Kurdish Peshmerga forces.

"The Sharia Court of Mosul decided to behead them in front of hundreds of ISIS members in order to prevent others from taking such a move without the permission of their military leadership."

Six of those executed are Syrian nationals. The rest were Western jihadis, according to The Sun.

ISIS has used public beheadings in the past as a warning to others to obey orders.
