Luxury two-bedroom treehouse

The swanky two-bedroom stilted apartment comes complete with a private balcony, sweeping views of the Thames and St Paul's and a personal chef.

But the exotic installation, created by Virgin Holidays, will only be gracing the river side for one week.

So if you've ever dreamt of nodding off in your very own magical treehouse, you better get down to the Thames quickly.

The treehouse is available for people to visit between 10am and 6pm all this week (January 25 – 29), but you can also win the chance to stay in it.

One lucky guest will get the chance to spend the night there on either Wednesday January 27, or Thursday January 28.

Inside, designer Hubert Zandberg has adorned the apartment with rustic tribal prints, a four-post plush bed and several one-off pieces of African sculpture.

The whole house is inspired by Virgin Holidays’ South African experience which includes a stay at the Lion Sands Game Reserve treehouse.

And the lucky winner will also be wined and dined in the form of a six-course degustation meal.

The adventurous dinner will include bush favourites such as deep-fried meal worms, crocodile and ostrich biltong – yummy!
