Obama to scrap plans to bomb evil ISIS terrorists in Libya

Obama to scrap plans to bomb evil ISIS terrorists in Libya
19.02.2016 14:29
Thousands of sick jihadi fighters are reportedly assembling in the Libyan capital of Sirte.

And the country is rapidly becoming a North African stronghold for the sick terror group.

Defence officials in the US have been devising plans to bomb the area for weeks.

But it seems Obama and his top advisors have now scrapped the plans.

A proposal to train up a new Libyan special ops team has also been abandoned.

Obama said he would only take action if there was a "clear target” in Libya.

Reports say the president is worried about taking any lead over his EU counterparts.

And officials on the continent also appear reluctant to take action against the twisted jihadis.

One unnamed officials said: "There is little to no appetite for that in this administration.”

Obama said earlier in the week that measures are being taken to prevent the depraved death cult – also known as Daesh – from spreading in the North African country.

He added: "We are working with our other coalition partners to make sure that, as we see opportunities to prevent ISIS from digging in in Libya, we take them.

"The tragedy of Libya over the last several years is Libya has a relatively small population and a lot of oil wealth, and could be really successful.”
