Groom so insistent dad attends wedding he brings him – in COMA

But despite the father's condition the groom, named as Abdullah Al Hayyas, told doctors at the hospital that he could not get married unless they agreed to let his father attend his wedding.

Although extremely worried about the impact on the men's health, the doctors reluctantly in the end agreed to the request and arranged for the father to be brought to the ceremony with the necessary medical assistance and staff on hand to monitor his health situation.

Local newspaper ‘Alyaum Daily’ reported: "Doctors had no choice but to agree to his demand.

"Although the father is in coma, he was brought to the wedding under medical supervision and the wedding went ahead as planned."
