ISIS hike taxes as RAF air strikes help cut jihadi income by THIRD

Major territory losses means the number of people living in the sick caliphate dropped from nine MILLION at the start of 2015 to fewer than six million, a new report has claimed.

It has seen the blood-thirsty groups' coffers slump from around £56million each month to £40million.

The tax report was carried out by consultancy firm IHS.

But now desperate jihadi taxmen are reported to be slapping ludicrous fines on their hostage citizens.

Senior analyst Ludovico Carlino said: "Our research has found that the Islamic State is increasing taxes on basic services and coming up with new WAYS TO GET MONEY from the population.

"You can be fined for driving on the wrong side of the road and for not being able to answer questions correctly on the Koran.”

It is also claimed that the so-called Caliphate taxed "installing satellite dishes" and slapped "exit fees" on people trying to leave a city.

ISIS raises half its cash from taxation and confiscation while selling and smuggling oil makes up 43% of its income.

But jihadis are out of pocket after both income streams were obliterated.

Airstrikes have blitzed evil ISIS and shrunk its territory by nearly a quarter.

And the depraved Islamist group suffered another setback after it was revealed that a "precise" air campaign wiped out more than 25,000 jihadis.
