Serial sex attacker who targeted 8 women in 10 days facing years behind bars

Mehdi Midani, 28, attacked four victims in just four hours in a sickening spree across Clapham and Brixton Hill, in south London.
The Algerian followed the women as they walked home before groping them on their doorstep or slapping their buttocks.
He was arrested after police issued CCTV footage of the attacker and urged women to be on their guard.
Midani was convicted of six counts of sexual assault and one count of common assault and pleaded guilty to a further count of sexual assault at Inner London Crown Court.
Midani is believed to have entered the UK via Ireland a few months before beginning his campaign.
At 9pm on October 22 last year, he followed a woman up Trent Road in Brixton Hill before touching her bum.
Prosecutor Charlotte Chirico previously told the court: "He brushed his hand against the victim's backside and reached up her dress.
"At this point the victim shouted: ‘What the f***? I don't know you.’”
Four days later he attacked two women in the space of an hour.
Just after 7pm, a 35-year-old woman was just about to open her door in Arodene Road, Clapham, when she felt a hand go up between her legs.
Midani ran off when she screamed in terror but at 8.15pm he followed a 26-year-old woman as she walked home along Rosebury Road.
Miss Chirico said: "This incident is slightly more brutal than the other two as she's grabbed aggressively in the vagina area with both hands then dragged to the floor.
"Then the defendant tried to kiss her and climbed on top of her and grabbed her.”
