Erdogan, Obama seek to undertake joint actions against ISIS

Ankara is ready to accept Washington's proposal on a joint operation to liberate Syria Rakka from IS militants.
Hurriyet quotes Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying that Rakka is the main center of IS militants.
"(US President Barack) Obama told me that he wants to do something about Rakka. We answered that we have no objections on our side. We proposed to assemble our military and discuss how to do it," Erdogan told reporters aboard the airplane on his way home from G20 summit.
Erdogan added that Turkey 'must show its presence in the region' and that it has no right to 'step back.'
