Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Budapest on Oct. 30, reports Trend referring to Xinhuanet.com

"During President Putin's visit to Budapest, Hungary and Russia will sign two cooperation agreements in the fields of social security and oncology," the Hungarian government announced on its official website in a statement.

Besides the specific agreements, the main topics between the two parties will cover gas and nuclear power issues.

"Russia has proven a reliable partner -- Hungary, which depends on Russian natural gas imports, has already received the full amount necessary for this coming winter's supply and next year's gas supply is also assured," the statement informed.

The expansion of Hungary's only nuclear plant, Paks, will also be part of the talks. The Paks nuclear power plant is being developed with the help of

Russia's state-owned firm Rosatom, according to the statement.
