22.09.2021 16:35
Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey Volodymyr Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed to step up work on concluding an agreement on a free trade zone between the two countries, informs TASS.

"The presidents agreed to intensify work on completing the process of concluding an agreement on a free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey,” the Ukraine presidential office noted.

Thus, Erdogan accepted Zelensky’s invitation to visit Ukraine to participate in the 10th meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, which is scheduled for this autumn.

The parties discussed ties in the field of energy in the context of diversification of energy carriers, as well as the pace of implementation of joint projects, in particular, on the construction of housing for representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.
