Georgian law enforcers have detained 46 people in Tbilisi for not obeying the police and for hooliganism during the past three actions of protest in support of former President Mikheil Saakashvili, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Three protest actions in support of Saakashvili took place on Wednesday morning in various parts of Tbilisi. The participants tried to block the entries to the administrative buildings, demanded to hospitalize the former president, and to hold the snap parliamentary elections.

Saakashvili was detained in Georgia on October 1. Earlier, he was convicted in absentia on the cases of the murder of banker Sandro Girgvliani and the beating of parliament member Valery Gelashvili.
