Georgia to ban online casinos

Georgia will increase taxes on online casinos and ban advertising, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a government meeting.
According to him, the age limit for users of online casinos will be raised from 18 to 25:
"1.5 billion laris are withdrawn from the country through online casinos. Our citizens and young people play and lose in these games every day. 99% of them are financially disadvantaged," the prime minister said.
He added that the next step is to ban online casinos in the country.
