Italy approves tougher restrictions for unvaccinated against COVID
25.11.2021 11:00
The Council of Ministers of Italy has approved a new decree, which provides restrictive measures for the citizens unvaccinated against the coronavirus, reported from La Stampa newspaper.

Changes will affect the COVID green pass certificate. The document will be issued within 48 hours. It may be received after a coronavirus test. The pass will work only for access to workplaces and in stores with essential goods and travel by interregional transport.

Besides, the so-called super green pass is introduced in the country for those who received the vaccine or have recovered from a coronavirus infection. Its owners will be able to visit restaurants in closed premises, sports, entertainment and cultural institutions.

The Council of Ministers also expanded the list of categories of citizens for whom vaccination is mandatory.

The new decree must come into force on November 29, and it’s not yet made public when they’ll end.
