Tokayev: Constitutional order is being restored throughout Kazakhstan

The introduction of the state of emergency is yielding results, constitutional order is being restored throughout Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his address to the nation.

"I thank the residents of the regions, who ensured a peaceful order of protest. All demands expressed in a peaceful manner were heard. As a result of the dialogue, a compromise was reached, solutions were developed on acute socio-economic problems," Tokayev said.

According to him, in regions, where the situation is stable, the state of emergency will be gradually lifted.
