Erdogan: “Canakkale Victory symbolizes the unity of Islam”

"The Canakkale Victory is a joint victory of hundreds of millions of our brothers,” President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the ceremony on the 107th anniversary of the Canakkale Victory.

"The sons of Baku, Batumi, Aleppo, Jerusalem and the children of Istanbul, Antep and Edirne have been sleeping together in these holy lands for 107 years. Therefore, the Canakkale Victory is not only our joint victory but also symbolizes the unity of Islam,” he said.
