Charles Michel says substantial investments to be directed to restoration work in Ukraine
06.04.2022 14:00
Substantial investments will be directed to the restoration of Ukraine after the end of the military action, EU Council President Charles Michel told the European Parliament.

He said the EU would continue to support Ukraine in political, financial, and humanitarian terms. According to Michel, they agreed to set up a trust fund for Ukraine, which will help support Ukraine in the nearest future and provide huge investments to restore its economy and infrastructure in the long run.

He also noted that the EU would further toughen sanctions as a leverage of pressure on the Kremlin.
