NATO Secretary General: We must be ready for a long-term confrontation

We must be ready for a long-term conflict, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told journalists before the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

"We must strengthen the defence. It is necessary to send aid to Ukraine and prepare long-term sanctions. Ukraine needs military assistance. We expect our allies to support Kyiv with various weapons," he told journalists.

A meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers is being held in Brussels today.
