Macron: War will not end soon
08.04.2022 12:30
French President Emmanuel Macron believes that the conflict in Ukraine will not end in the coming weeks, reported from RTL radio.

"Unfortunately, the war will not end soon. We will witness a very difficult situation in the Donbas in the coming days. That is why we are doing everything together with Turkiye, Greece, and the UN to organize humanitarian aid," Macron noted.

In an interview with Le Parisien, the President also said that France is ready to be a guarantor of Ukraine's security.

He stressed that he would continue contact with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to maintain the status of a participant in the talks.
