12.04.2022 15:30
The use of chemical weapons in Mariupol is being investigated, said Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, reported from RBC Ukraine.

"Russia might have used phosphorus weapons. The risk of using chemicals is quite high. For now, we are clarifying the information," he added.

Yesterday, it was reported that Russian troops used an unknown toxic substance against the military and civilians in the Donetsk region of Mariupol.

Andriy Biletsky, the founder of the Azov Regiment, said that three Azov fighters were wounded as a result of the Russian army's use of chemical weapons.

According to him, the condition of the victims is satisfactory. Commenting on the situation in Mariupol, President Volodymyr Zelensky promised that the West would respond more harshly to the use of chemical weapons.
