Zelensky: Over 500,000 Ukrainians forcibly deported to Russia
13.04.2022 17:00
More than 500,000 citizens of Ukraine have been forcibly deported to remote regions of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said addressing the Estonian Parliament, reported from RBC-Ukraine.

"Today, more than 500,000 Ukrainians have been forcibly displaced. Just imagine how much it is! If the invaders aimed to take out the whole population of Tallinn. The whole city. This is like a third of all your citizens,” Zelensky said.

He noted that documents, mobile phones and personal belongings are seized from Ukrainians in Russia. Sometimes parents are separated from their children. They are planned to be transferred for illegal adoption to Russian families.
