I do not intend to visit Ukraine yet, said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
He stressed that the Ukrainian government's refusal to receive German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier caused confusion.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to visit Kyiv, Oleksiy Arestovich, an advisor of the head of the Ukrainian president's office, said in an interview with German ARD TV channel, reported from TASS.
"Our president is waiting for the chancellor's visit to make practical decisions, including on the supply of weapons," he said.
Arestovich also said he did not know why Zelensky did not endorse German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier's visit to Kyiv.
