Charles Michel: New anti-Russian sanctions to affect oil supplies
03.05.2022 19:30
The EU is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia to cover oil supplies, European Council President Charles Michel said, reported from RIA Novosti.

Speaking in Greece at a ceremony for the construction of a floating storage and regasification station for liquefied natural gas (FSRU) in the port of Alexandroupolis, Michel noted that this project will contribute to Europe's energy security.

He noted that the EU countries have made very important decisions in the field of energy to cut off their reliance on fossil energy sources.

Charles Michel promised financial support for all projects that would differentiate energy supplies and reduce dependence on Russia.
