Number of children killed in Ukraine since start of hostilities climbs to 221

221 children have been killed, over 408 wounded since the start of hostilities in Ukraine, the country's Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement, reported from Ukrainian media.

"These data are not final since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories. The figure is the highest in Donetsk (139 children), Kyiv (116), Kharkiv (95), Chernihiv (68), Kherson (46), Mykolaiv (44), Luhansk (37), Zaporizhzhia (27), Sumy (17), Kyiv city (16), Zhytomyr (15)," the statement says.
