Kazakhstan launches process of blacklisting Russian journalist of Armenian origin

The Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan has started the procedure of including Tigran Keosayan, a Russian journalist of Armenian origin, on the list of undesirable persons, Spokesman of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Aybek Smadiyarov said, reported from Tengrinews.kz.

On April 24, Keosayan's YouTube channel posted a video in which he insulted Kazakhs, saying that they should 'take a close look on Ukraine' and calling on Russian officials to re-examine relationship with Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry slammed Keosayan's words as insulting and biased and said the journalist might be included on Kazakhstan's list of undesirable persons.
