Georgian President calls for full solidarity with Ukraine

"Today, Ukraine, attacked by Russia, is fighting not only for its freedom but also for the independence and sovereignty of European countries. This country needs full solidarity," said Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.
Speaking about Georgia's intention to join the European Union, the President said that the war in Ukraine had accelerated this process: "We know and will not forget that today, Ukraine defends not only its freedom, sovereignty, and independence but also our freedom and the freedom of other European countries. We have to share the pain of the Ukrainian people and show full solidarity with them."
He noted that Georgia is trying to return Abkhazia and South Ossetia without using force.
