Armenian government should refrain from attempts to rewrite history – President Aliyev

"Rights of security of all people of Azerbaijan are provided by our Constitution,” President Ilham Aliyev said at the IX Global Baku Forum. 

According to him, Azerbaijan is a multiethnic country: "Armenian population is not the biggest ethnic minority in Azerbaijan. Therefore, our Constitution provides equal rights for representatives of all ethnicities, including Armenians, who live in Azerbaijan.”

"But, unfortunately, we start to hear from Armenian government words about the status of so-called Nagorno Karabakh, which is, absolutely, counter-productive and dangerous for Armenia itself. Armenian should refrain from attempts to rewrite history. History already is here,” the President said.
