American Institute: Russian army launched ground attack north of Donetsk

The Russian Armed Forces have intensified rocket and artillery strikes to the west of the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, according to the information from the American War Research Institute, reported from UNIAN.

"Probably, this is to isolate Bakhmut from the south and west of Ukraine. The Russian army launched a ground offensive north of Donetsk. But it was not successful," the report said.

A total of 37,300 soldiers of the Russian army have been destroyed so far.
