Zelenskyy thanks Draghi for supporting Ukraine in fighting against Russia

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi for supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia.

"Sincerely grateful to Mario Draghi for unwavering support to Ukraine in fighting against Russian aggression & defending common European values - democracy & freedom. We'll keep working to boost Ukraine-Italy cooperation. I'm convinced that the active support of the Italian people for Ukraine will continue!" Zelenskyy tweeted.

Mario Draghi announced on Thursday that he would submit his resignation letter to the country's President Sergio Mattarella.
