British PM: Europe should stop buying energy from Russia
06.10.2022 15:30
British Prime Minister Liz Truss appealed to European leaders to stop purchasing energy supplies from Russia, reported from The Times.

Truss stressed that it is necessary to protect the unity of Europe.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes to divide us in the struggle for energy. We must show him that he is wrong," said the head of the Bristish government.

According to the Prime Minister, security, energy and migration are the most urgent issues for the people of Great Britain.

Liz Truss said that she will talk about these issues at the summit of the leaders of the European Political Community, which will be held today in Prague, the Czech Republic.

Forty-four countries will be represented at the summit.
