Security Council: Armenia interested in using communications passing through Azerbaijan

Armenia is interested in using communications and means of communication passing through Azerbaijan, for example, for the purpose of transporting goods, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan said at the 10th meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS countries, reported from the Armenian media.
He noted that Yerevan is interested in a real solution to the issue of unblocking communications in the region and supports the activities of the trilateral working group chaired jointly by the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia.
"Armenia is making efforts to normalize relations with Azerbaijan. In this process, a significant role is given to the fundamental documents of the CIS and the UN, as well as the Almaty Declaration of 1991, in which the states recognized each other’s territorial integrity and the inviolability of existing borders,” Grigoryan added.
