Hulusi Akar: Turkiye supports sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine
20.12.2022 16:30
Turkiye supports Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and political unity, Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said in an interview with Messaggero, reported from Habertürk.

According to him, prolonging the fighting increases the risk of expanding the scale of the war in Ukraine.

The minister emphasized that Turkiye has been conducting an active policy since the first day of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia:

"One of the most important results of Turkiye's efforts under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was the prevention of the food crisis that threatened the whole world. We aim to continue the talks in Istanbul, where both sides have come together for the first time since the conflict broke out."
