Borrell, Iranian FM agree to continue work on nuclear issues

Head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian agreed to continue bilateral contacts and efforts to restore the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear program during talks in Jordan.
"Necessary meeting with Iranian FM Amir Abdolahian in Jordan amidst deteriorating Iran-EU relations. Stressed need to immediately stop military support to Russia and internal repression in Iran. Agreed we must keep communication open and restore JCPOA on basis of Vienna negotiations,” Borrell tweeted.
Amman (Jordan) is hosting a regional conference on assistance to Iraq.
