Pashinyan: Mirzoyan’s visit to Ankara may become turning point in establishing ties with Türkiye

The visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Türkiye may become a turning point in the establishment of Armenian-Turkish relations, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting, reported from Sputnik-Armenia.
Pashinyan also said that Yerevan had prepared a sketch for the restoration of the Ani bridge on the border between Armenia and Türkiye.
He noted that the restoration of the Ani bridge could also become a symbolic basis for normalization.
He added that despite the criticism addressed to him, the Armenian government could not but send aid to Türkiye, since with such large-scale humanitarian disasters, support is needed, especially from neighboring countries. "Of course, support should have been provided to Syria as well,” he noted.
