23 people killed, 46 injured in Russian attack on Ukraine’s Kherson

Over the past day, the Russian Armed Forces have fired 98 times at a number of regions of Ukraine, firing 539 shells from heavy artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aviation. Kherson was attacked 16 times. As a result of the attack in the Kherson region, the death toll increased to 23, the number of the wounded grew to 46, according to the head of the Kherson regional military administration Alexander Prokudin, reported from RBC-Ukraine.

"The Russian servicemen shelled the residential areas of the settlements of the region. The city of Kherson was shelled with particular cruelty. Due to Russian aggression, 23 people were killed, 46 (including two children) were injured,” he said.

According to the head of the region, 82 shells hit the Station Square, the territory and facilities of the railway station, a gas station, two retail establishments, a factory, railroad crossing area.
