EU urges Russia not to use alleged attack on Kremlin to escalate conflict

The European Union (EU) urges Russia not to use the alleged attack on the Kremlin to escalate the Ukrainian conflict, EU diplomat Josep Borrell said ahead of the EU Council meeting.
"We call on Russia not to use this alleged attack as an excuse to continue to escalate the conflict," he said.
Yesterday, Russia accused Ukraine of trying to carry out UAV strikes on the Kremlin. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is not attacking Moscow, but is fighting only on its territory.
