Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed their intention to hold a bilateral meeting in the foreseeable future. But where and when exactly this meeting will take place remains to be agreed, the Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov told reporters, reported from Russian media.

"Indeed, when Putin called and congratulated Mr. Erdogan on his victory in the elections, on his re-election as President of the Republic of Türkiye, the presidents confirmed their intention to hold a bilateral meeting in the foreseeable future. Where it will be and when exactly, remains to be agreed upon, taking into account the schedules of the two presidents. But we are already preparing for such a meeting,” Peskov said.

Earlier today, the Hurriyet newspaper reported that after the inauguration of Erdogan, the Russian President will visit Türkiye.
