WHO: Evacuation of patients in Gaza might lead to humanitarian tragedy

The forced evacuation of patients and health workers in the Gaza Strip would result in a humanitarian tragedy, the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus,  reported from TASS.

He said that calling 1.1 million people to move from north to south Gaza in such a short period of time will lead to a humanitarian tragedy.
 
The forced evacuation of patients and health workers will further worsen the humanitarian and public health situation, he added.
