Foreign ministry: Russia welcomes all contacts to normalize Baku-Yerevan relations

Russia welcomes all contacts to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on November 2, answering a question from News.ru.
Zakharova noted that Moscow welcomes any contacts that help relieve tensions between Baku and Yerevan: "We welcome everything that benefits the parties and the region as a whole. For our part, we proceed from the fact that a complex of tripartite agreements remains the roadmap for the normalization of bilateral relations. It includes the signing of a peace treaty between the two countries, unblocking economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus, border delimitation, dialogue at the level of civil society and much more.”
She also noted that Russia is ready to organize a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia in Moscow.
