Hezbollah attacks north of Israel

The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has said it fired dozens of rockets at a town in northern Israel in response to air raids in southern Lebanon.

"Islamic resistance fighters fired dozens of Katyusha-type rockets at Kiryat Shmona,” an Israeli town near the Lebanese border, Hezbollah said in a statement.

"We urge all parties involved to halt hostilities immediately to prevent further escalation,” he said.
