President of Ukraine says situation in Kharkiv direction difficult

The situation in the Kharkiv direction is very difficult, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.

"I am returning from our warriors’ positions in the Kharkiv region. The situation on the frontline is extremely difficult in several areas, particularly where Russian forces have concentrated the majority of their reserves. They are taking advantage of delays in military aid for Ukraine, which are felt strongly. Artillery deficit. The need for frontline air defense and longer-range weapons. We are working with partners to resume and continue assistance while also increasing the strength of our own domestic defense industry,” he wrote.
